Jug Island Beach is located in Belcarra Regional Park in metropolitan Vancouver, British Columbia. Belcarra Regional Park is located in the northeast of the meeting of Burrard Inlet with Indian Arm, beginning near Belcarra Bay and extending to Sasamat Lake.

Jug Island Beach Trail
The trail to Jug Island Beach is a short hike along a well marked trail. There is plenty of parking at the Belcarra Picnic Area [PDF Download: Park Map] where you will begin your journey to this beautiful little island.
The 5.5km round trip rewards you with a view of the beautiful Jug Island and a quiet beach to enjoy the views of Indian Arm and have lunch before your trip back. The trip return will take about 2.5 hours. You’ll want to allow some extra time to explore the beach as well. Don’t forget your camera!
There is full washroom facilities at the Belcarra Picnic Area and an outhouse and garbage can at Jug Island Beach.
